We recently came back from Chicago at the ASAE tradeshow. The ASAE is the American Society of Association Executives, and we chose to exhibit at their annual tradeshow.
As one of the owners of the company (http://www.protraining.com/), believe me when I say, you do everything you can to make the show a success, as the show costs are coming out of your own pocket, so to speak. :-)
So in preparation for this show, we upgraded our booth, designed and printed professional brochures, had great USB drive promo items, and sent our best 'tradeshow worthy' people down (Chris, my partner, Greg our sales person, and myself).
It was a great show. A Fairly good turnout, and best of all, our company and our product (T2 Platform) had very little competition at the show, and gained great interest from a lot of prospective customers.
They say the real work begins when you get back, so we've been busy with post show marketing and follow up. Time will tell, but we are pretty sure we'll be back for the show next year.
