Maligne Canyon

This summer, we took our RV out to a number of spots, and Dianne and the kids and I had a great time. The last trip we made was to Jasper. We had great weather, and spent a lot of time in the great outdoors.

About 20 minutes from Jasper is Maligne canyon. It's a great trek atop some spectacular gorges up to 165 ft deep. Several foot bridges cross the canyon at 5 different points, and some of the sights are awesome.

It's about a half hour walk, maybe 5 km in length. Nothing too serious, so if you are ever in Jasper, be sure and take it in.

I've posted some video of the canyon below. If you look closely in the second and third clip, you'll see water emptying into the canyon from below the mountain. Pretty cool sight....
